The Mission Viejo
Aloha Strummers

Welcome to the Aloha Strummers website. Glad you found us! We are a welcoming, friendly and fun group of over 100 ukulele players of all ages and skill levels.
We meet at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in beautiful Mission Viejo.
24932 Veterans Way
Mission Viejo, CA 92692
Please join us for a fun session of ukulele playing, singing,
hula dancing and friendship!
Our mission is to provide an environment that helps to encourage, inspire, educate and enable individuals in their pursuit of the joy of playing the ukulele.
Our group sessions are for all ability levels, from beginners to experienced players. Everyone is welcome!
We also perform in surrounding Orange County communities with our music and dance at various venues... senior homes, hospitals, private parties & luaus. All genres of music are practiced and performed!
Please arrive early enough to allow yourself time to park, find a seat and set up to begin playing at 1:30pm sharp. If you arrive after the playing begins, please quietly enter by the doors to the rear of the room.
Every member must register and enroll through the Norman P. Murray Community Center via the internet, phone or in person. Beginning in September 2021, a quarterly fee will be required at the time of enrollment.
Please be aware that photo, video and audio recordings of members may be taken at various venues, events and weekly sessions. They may then be printed, posted or otherwise posted to the internet, various websites, Dropbox and/or other social media.
We encourage members who want to share in song by playing for the group. If you would like to perform for the group as a soloist/group or play a non-ukulele instrument, it can be arranged at the leader's discretion.
Hula dancers of all styles and skill levels are welcome and are encouraged to perform solo or in a group dance.
Got it? Now, let's have s'trum fun!
